Guardians Of The Galaxy (2014)

James Gunn did the impossible and made characters no one outside of hardcore comic fans have even heard of a household name. Not only was it good but it made the characters compelling and it was so easy to be emotionally invested. The weakest part was the villains. They talk in such a Shakespearian way. Thanos sounded intelligent but the way he talked was so weird. Ronan fell into the issue Marvel had for a while and was a weak villain. He was just an obstacle rather than a compelling villain. Everything else about this was amazing.
