I Saw The Marvels 6 Months Early!!

This won't be posted until the actual movie comes out so I don't break my NDA. However, on June 14th I got to be in a test audience for The Marvels. They were doing it in Dallas and based on the sign-up questions, it was going to be Blue Beetle or a rough cut of The Marvels. It happened to be a rough cut of The Marvels which was interesting to see with the very basic digital filler for the incomplete effects. Pretty much the entire finale was alpha-level CGI. It was enough to give you an idea of what's going on but obviously, we had to fill in the gaps. The movie itself was pretty fun. Carol Danvers seems to be so much more human and natural in her solo films. Kamala was hands down the stand out of the whole thing. She even gets to be the Nick Fury of setting up the Young Avengers. I don't wanna spoil too much but there are some great cameos and plenty of fun scenes. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the villain. All-in-all I loved the movie and the experience. As of right now, my score is: Story-17, Characters-18, Pacing-18, Spectacle-19, Entertainment-18, for a total of 90%. I will put an updated score under this paragraph when the actual movie comes out, so I'll see you then.
