Meg 2: The Trench (Released 8/4/23)

The Jaws knockoff is back at it again. But this time, there are Jurassic Park vibes. From hungry human-sized dinosaurs to humans accidentally releasing the monsters into the general public. This has the same problems as the American Godzilla movies in that there is a lot of focus on the humans when really we just want nonstop monster attacks. I guess they want you to feel excited when the heroes take down the monsters, but it drags the movie. It’s one of those movies where you get what you expect. I had a good time, but there should have been fewer human villains and more shark food.
