Next Goal Wins (Released 11/17/23)

Taika Waititi is at his best when he does comedic stories. The story of American Samoa’s Soccer team was full of heartwarming moments with fun elements. There are themes of tradition and acceptance of others. Michael Fassbender did an amazing job and pulled off both the comedy side and drama side so well. It has a fairly happy ending for the underdogs. It is a fun sports movie with some moving drama moments. There is perfect balance and leads to this being a fairly solid movie.
