Sisu (Released 4/28/23)

I had an extra movie on my A-list left so I was between this and The Black Demon. Essentially, Rambo or Jaws. I went with the Rambo option, and boy was it a good choice. The premise is this Rambo/John Wick type is trying to make a living as a gold digger in Nazi-invaded Sweden. He is an old, rugged man just trying to make an honest living and some Nazis get in his way. Just like the heroes I compared him to, he is a former military with a spooky name, who refuses to die. The action is incredible and the sheer determination he has to not die is incredible. I don’t think he realistically could have survived a few things but that is how he got the nickname Sisu. If you are in the mood for a violent action movie with a mostly silent protagonist, this movie is worth the watch.
