Son of Batman (2014)

A lower-stakes movie is refreshing after a string of JLA movies. And leave it to Batman to turn a fling into a deadly assassin child. The dynamic works since neither wants to have the father/son connection but learns to be a family regardless. It all plays like a Batman-fied dramedy. Damien is a little badass though, not gonna lie. Deathstroke is always a top-notch villain to use. He is a militarized version of Batman and has insane sword skills. This was a refreshing, grounded Batman story. Nightwing even gets to show jealousy towards his Robin replacement. This is what a solo Batman movie should be.
