Spiderman 2 (2004)

The movie has always been popular and for good reason. It explores the struggle of Peter trying to balance being a hero and a normal person. This struggle has always been one of the key elements of a good Spider-man story. It has one of the best emotional performances in Otto Octavius. While the Green Goblin was a force to be reckoned with and was 100% off the rails, Otto was a more sympathetic character. A prisoner in the shackles of his own machine. This movie was superhero perfection at the time. Great story, great set pieces, and an all-around well-crafted story.
