Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991)

They went a little cartoonish with this one. There was a bit of expansion on the lore of the turtles becoming mutants but that is where the growth ends. The turtles don’t learn much. April doesn’t do much. It’s still a fun movie but just didn't do much past the ooze. Off-brand Bebop and Rocksteady were meh. Super Shredder was defeated easier than normal Shredder. This movie is only worth watching to get the full original trilogy experience. Otherwise, you can just stick with the first film.
