Jonah Hex (2010)

This movie had a lot going for it, but it felt so hollow. There was a lot of talent on the cast but there were only 3 slightly interesting characters and even they seemed two-dimensional. This movie felt like a Reconstruction Era mix between Wild Wild West and Ghost Rider. Everything about this movie felt flat and generic, but the talent lifted it up a little bit. At the end of the day, it is a simple story about revenge. If they had put more plot and characterizations, then this movie may have done better. It leaves a lot to be desired, but if you want a short western with cool explosions, look no further.
