Scream 3 (2000)

The third in a trilogy. No one is safe and all bets are off. This film picks up three years later which begs the question…why did the killer wait this long? The timing and motivations just felt dumb and convoluted. It did its best to come full circle and it did succeed in some regards. The whole idea of explaining how things will play out per the rules starts to get stale at this point. Apparently, behind the scenes, this movie was a mess to make, from scripts turned in the day of to reshooting the end a month before release. This could definitely have been worse, but also could have been the chance to be something great.
