Shazam! (2019)

I know it’s kinda crazy for a movie like this to score so high, but this is an underrated gem. This showed you can have a lighthearted coming-of-age movie in the grittier world of the DCEU. Zachary Levi is a fun actor and the cast around him is amazing. The villain is a bit one-dimensional, but that is the curse of Mark Strong. Getting to see Billy grow into a hero while also growing closer to his family is beautiful. It was sad to have somewhat of a Superman cameo that could never amount to anything. There is heart and family. There is not much more you could ask for in a fun superhero movie.
