The Curse of La Llorona (2019)

I think Hawkeye’s wife being the main character definitely made it easier to be interested. This is very parred for the course in the franchise but added some fun Hispanic folklore this time around. It was very middle of the road overall. I did love the look for the “demon gets defeated” effect. Other than that it was just a demon that liked drowning kids. Let’s find a way to defeat it. This is also the least connected to the franchise. The only thread is the priest from Annabelle. It’s an alright watch, but not something you need to go out of your way to watch.
